Won't Miss Garage sells Japanese car parts, wheels and imported vehicles, and sources parts from Japan to order. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We collect information you give us directly:

• Orders: your name, email, phone number, billing and shipping address, and what you bought, including any options or special requests you add to a made to order item.
• Requests and reservations: when you submit an import request, reserve an incoming item, or contact us, we receive the details you enter, such as your name, email, phone, address and message.
• Newsletter: your email address, if you sign up for arrival updates.

We also collect some information automatically, such as your device and browser type, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from your IP address, through cookies and similar technologies described below.

Checkout is handled by Shopify and its payment processors. Your full card details are entered on their secure systems and are never stored by us. We receive confirmation of payment and the order details needed to fulfil it.

• To process, ship and support your orders, reservations and import requests, including made to order changes you ask for.
• To contact you about your order, request or reservation, including quotes, lead times and arrival updates.
• To send arrival updates if you signed up for them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To run, secure and improve the website, and to prevent fraud and abuse, including limiting repeated form submissions.
• To meet legal, tax, customs and export obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed:

• Shopify, which hosts this store and processes orders and payments.
• Google, whose Workspace tools we use to record requests, reservations and orders.
• Shipping carriers, freight forwarders and export agents, in the United States and Japan, to move and clear your items.
• Sellers and auction services in Japan, only the details needed to purchase an item on your behalf, which usually means none of your personal information.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

We and Shopify use cookies to keep your cart, remember your session and understand how the site is used. This site also stores small items in your browser: a copy of the garage animation so it loads faster next time, and a count of recent reservation requests used to stop spam. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings; the site will still work.

We work with partners in Japan, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. When we transfer information, we take reasonable steps to keep it protected.

We keep order and request records for as long as needed to fulfil them and to meet tax, accounting and legal requirements, generally up to seven years for order records. Reservation and request records that do not lead to a sale are deleted or anonymised after about two years.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, and to have it deleted, subject to legal exceptions. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, California residents have the rights described above, plus the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. In the past twelve months we collected the categories of information listed above, from you and from your use of the site, for the purposes listed above, and disclosed them to the service providers listed above. You may use an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf.

This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and access to order and request records is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
